Indigo Beads opened its doors in March of 2008 in the heart of downtown Klamath Falls, OR. Indigo Beads is owned by Angie Britton, and operated by herself, her mom Nancy, and aunt Debbie. Her dad, Jim custom built most of the bead displays, and is the “store maintenance guy”. The store got up and running in an 800 square foot space completely packed full of beads, tools, etc. and expanded to 1600 square feet in September of 2009 (mostly to accommodate Angie’s exuberant bead purchasing habits). Indigo Beads offers numerous classes, from the basics to advanced project classes, and provides an open table where beaders may watch learning videos to bead along with.
